Join us for a virtual workshop led by Los Angeles Documenter Carolyn Chen!
In this workshop, we'll host a watch party and discussion, where we will view short clips from public meetings that have gone viral online and use them as a starting point for discussion. These clips often highlight dramatic, humorous, or tense exchanges, but they rarely provide full context about how public meetings actually function. We will discuss what makes these clips go viral, what context is missing, how these moments compare to what Documenters have experienced in meetings, and more!
Date: Wednesday, November 18th, 2026
Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm CT
Location: Online via Zoom
