Documenter Debrief is a space for Documenters to come together, reflect, and make sense of what we’re witnessing across local public meetings.

From city council to city colleges, commission on landmarks to the metropolitan water reclamation board documenters spend hours inside the rooms where decisions take shape.

This event brings us together to step back from our individual notes and look at the bigger picture.

  • What themes are emerging?

  • What surprised us?

  • What tensions, priorities, or community voices stood out?

Through guided conversation, shared observations, and collective reflection, Documenter Debrief helps turn documentation into understanding. Together, we’ll connect the dots between meetings, highlight what matters most to our communities, and translate civic process into real world impact.

Documenting opens the door, but shared understanding is what moves communities forward.
